The urban microclimate plays an important role in the energy consumption of buildings and the sensations of comfort in the outdoors. The urgent need to increase energy efficiency, reduce the emissions of pollutants and to overcome the obvious lack of sustainability that affects the built spaces, has put a spotlight on the bioclimatic urbanism as a benchmark for a proposed change in the way of design and live the city.
