The constant increase in energy demand at the international level and the depletion of the reserves of hydrocarbons, common circumstance in other types of mineral resources outside the purely energy, leads to the exploration and exploitation of reserves not previously considered as viable. This policy will be feasible only in those cases in which the technology forward to achieve the requirements associated with these approaches, within conditions of proven profitability.
