ABSTRACT
Lighting consumes about 19% of the electricity in the world and the new technologies enable us to get very important savings. A good lighting must deploy the appropriate light in the appropriate place. The “Codigo Técnico de la Edificación” has boosted the development of new installations with the best lightning quality. We can act in some different ways to reduce the consumption power in the current office installations, according to the following items: • Light sources and ballasts • Lighting solution • Lighting dimming systems • Lighting control systems. At the end saving energy reached is higher as more complete is the technical solution implemented.
