ABSTRACT
The flare stacks are a key element in the safety of petrochemical and refining industries, their operational availability must be guaranteed with a periodic maintenance plan and the review of all its elements. The development of Non-Destructive Testing techniques (NDT) in recent years and its application in this field allows reliable and objective information. In this article we describe and group major applicable NDT analyzing their advantages and disadvantages.
