Last October, three German research organizations, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), the Helmholtz-Zentrum für Luft- Zentren Deutsches und Raumfahrt (DLR) and Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ). Bund und Land, presented the project to create the first one, a smart energy platform capable of determining the principles of interaction between the different energy systems. It will have a budget of 22 million euros, although investments in media will be immediate, it is expected that scientific work will last for 20 years
