After the end of the crisis in the sector, the gap between the requirements of the real estate product and the reality of the sector was distant and mainly of a regulatory nature. The new requirements of the Technical Building Code (CTE) of multiple character and of recent approval then, contrasting with the standstill of the sector, had a delay in the application of the same ones in all the levels. The progressive response of the building sector has focused on the search for proposals and solutions that provide maximum reliability and performance to building investors and users, as well as the efficiency and safety of the building product. Housing is a relevant product in society, mainly private initiative, which affects economic growth and creates interference in many sectors.
