The purpose of this article is to introduce the Geneva Emotion Wheel+ (GEW+) instrument, which was created to evaluate the emotional state of the users while performing tasks on an interactive system during an evaluation exercise. The use of the instrument was a result of identifying the features that would provide more information regarding the emotional state of the users. GEW+ is therefore proposed to be included as part of the tasks pertaining to the evaluation of interactive systems, in order to obtain information regarding those emotions that the users identified as being present while performing the tasks, the ones that were not, and to generally evaluate whether the tasks were perceived as pleasant or unpleasant (valence dimension) and also whether the users believe or not they can influence in some manner to maintain or improve the situation (control dimension). Keywords: ?usability, user experience, emotional evaluation,
