ABSTRACTThe aim of this paper is to establish a methodology for the fatigue analysis of a cryogenic tanker semi-trailer vehicle to allow to design with this against this failure. Failure will be analyzed in the base material of the weld and heat affected zones (HAZ) facing the most critical manoeuvres to which the vehicle may be subjected. So, critical manoeuvres must be established in the fatigue calculation, the material model, etc. There will be also a numerical-experimental correlation of fatigue welded test pieces allowing the validation of the numerical weld model.KEY WORDS: trailer, tanker, cryogenic, test piece, numerical, F.E.M., weld, vehicle, fatigue.
