We are immersed in a digital revolution that is accelerating day by day, and therefore it requires a profound transformation, based on the intelligent integration of technologies in products and processes, so on new business models (Industry 4.0). It needs the redefinition of the management of organizations, which requires new tools or adaptation of existing ones that incorporate the evolution of technologies, highlighting the need to adapt traditional enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) to the new digital environment. This paper aims to explore the integration of technologies 4.0 in the ERP systems. Thus, we will discuss the advances developed and the challenges to be overcome by the ERP providers. It is necessary to talk of a full integration of the ERP in Industry 4.0, taking as a reference one of the companies that leads this digitization process.
