The global financial crisis, in which we are immersed and whose outcome still appears uncertain, is eroding deeply the industrial fabric and technological of the European Union, evidencing structural weaknesses - such as the progressive loss of competitiveness, and unemployment - that although there were already latent in advance in many areas of the EU, it is now when they have come to the surface and have become more patents.
