Every year, adverse natural phenomena are the protagonists of shocking episodes that demand the greatest efforts of any species that intends to survive in extreme circumstances. Human beings, whether or not they are the catalysts of such events, will have to coexist with them more intensely and more frequently. The latest report of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) (https://www.ipcc.ch/report/ar6/wg1/SPM) confirms that no populated area of our planet is exempt from suffering extreme meteorological phenomena derived from global warming, and places human activity as the promoter of the increase in temperature experienced by the atmosphere, the oceans and the earth's surface over the last 170 years.
