Existing smelters are far from those in which practically the whole process was handmade. Clearly much remains to be done because, especially in the manufacture of large single parts, the manual component of operations is large. However, with increasing intensity, or semiseriada serial production, such as automotive, it takes place in facilities and progressively more automated equipment.
