This paper presents the fundamentals of Chemical Looping Combustion (CLC) technology, which is one of the technologies of CO2 Capture, which has the advantage of inherently separating CO2. Current efforts to find low-cost materials that can be used in the technology are also shown, given the high cost of synthetic materials when using solid fuels such as coal. Finally, the future perspectives of the technology are presented.
