The ratification of the United States and China has allowed the Paris Agreement to enter into force. This is the first global agreement for the fight against climate change, in which all countries make their contributions. To achieve the goal of limiting global warming to 2 ° C, it is necessary to reduce emissions by almost 30%, and country commitments are not sufficient. The collaboration of cities, regions, companies and NGOs, together with measures of efficiency in energy, transport and agriculture, allow us, far from being optimistic, to think that we are still in time to reach the goals.
