ABSTRACT
The objective of the Civil Protec- tion agency in drafting the new Basic Norm of Self-protection is to protect the general public who may be
accidentally exposed to an emergency situation.This new regulation, however,only affects those activities considered to be high-risk and forces them to have a Self-protection Plan, which should conform to some predeter- mined guidelines and should be regularly updated.
