ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the technical analysis of the R&D priority needs and essential service in industrial and agricultural sectors in efficiency and energy management areas.

This study consists of three phases: analysis of the existing service offer, the trends and the emerging technologies for the improvement of the efficiency and energetic management, value chain analysis and the agent that composes it.

To analyze the offer of services, the lines of action of national and international investigation centres have been analyzed.

The trends and emergent technologies have been analyzed to detect future needs and to propose lines of action.

Finally by sectors (energetic, industrial and agricultural) the existing barriers and demand have been detected as well as his possibilities of improvements in efficiency and energetic management.

This study reflects that there are niche markets poor developed nowadays that will affects future services and lines of research and development in future.
