ABSTRACT: The increasing availability of new and better technology is enabling households to transform into environments where technological devices are inserted naturally and are assimilated quickly and transparently by users. However, while it is true that the composition of devices and services in a space represents an operational advantage, it is necessary to emphasize that most devices are limited to one place and are isolated from other similar systems. Consequently, there is a need to offer complex services through coordination with analog systems, to overcome the barrier of isolation that have intelligent environments. In this sense, it is proposed to design a working environment (Framework) that addresses the problem of coordination between intelligent spaces, modeled by a multiagent system to have an ecosystem where users have the freedom to migrate to different intelligent spaces without losing their services. The proposed Framework represents an alternative solution in the selection of coordination mechanisms, since it takes into account the characteristics of the agent societies that need to interact, including a classification of the coordination mechanisms through an algorithm that allows the selection of an appropriate mechanism.Key Words: Intelligent Environments, Coordination Mechanisms Coordination
