The current economic outlook, together with advances in displaying digital 3D elements makes the market demands new ways of presenting projects. Moreover, the difficulty of interpretation in the graphic expression manifested by the students along with their digital native profile, make 3D models suitable for using in the classroom to support the teaching-learning process and to show them in the final exhibition of the different elements designed before they are manufactured. It has been introduced in the classroom 3D technology, augmented reality and pdf3D files, for master classes, exercises and project presentations. The experience was carried out with Vocational Training students and at the University. The results are positive in as to how quickly in the ability of spatial visualization, usability of 3D models and acceptance of this technology. The presentation of the projects is clarified by the tridimensional overview provided.
