ABSTRACT: Currently there are slope stabilization techniques based in plants, with many beneficial effects on ground reinforcement, graund stabilization and erosion prevention. The objective of this research is to identify those effects, describe, in addition to implementing existing for the development of a computer application for calculating the slope stability , including parameters such as the drag force of the wind in the study of slope stability due to the effects of vegetation.A first level of study provides the most appropriate techniques to prevent erosion and remove water from the soil, the study will focus on soil reinforcement and anchoring effect of the roots. We need to get an integrated slope stabilization computer model which takes into account both positive and negative effects, in turn being easy to use. This is the main objective of this part of the investigation. In order to systematically analyze the results and see how changing the input values change the results. This tool will be useful: to make studies on finding a solution; to make a project of vegetation: to determine if the solution developed is appropriate. The program developed to meet these objectives: graphic interface; updatable database; calculation functions; graphic analysis of the results and the main functions of the program are: identification of the most appropriate combination of vegetation; evaluating slope stability; check changes by changing the input parameters in real time. Keywords: slope stability, mathematical model, replanting, anchoring roots, software.
